Cookie Policy

Cookies and similar browser storage are small pieces of data a site keeps on your device. Estatya uses only what is needed to run the service and to understand product usage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell data.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Cookies can be “session” cookies (erased when you close your browser) or “persistent” cookies (stored until they expire or you delete them). Estatya uses both, described below.

Essential cookies

A first-party, HttpOnly session cookie keeps you signed in and secures your session. Without it, features that require an account — saving listings, managing your dashboard — will not work. This cookie cannot be disabled without breaking sign-in functionality; it contains no personally identifying content beyond an encrypted session identifier.

Analytics and measurement

We use our analytics provider to measure aggregate page and feature usage — which pages are visited, where users drop off, which features are used most. This data is used solely to improve the product. We do not enable session recording, heatmaps, or individual user tracking. Analytics storage is first-party and does not share your data with advertising networks.

Browsing listings, searching, and sending an inquiry do not require you to accept analytics storage.

Third-party services

Estatya does not embed third-party advertising, social-media widgets, or affiliate tracking on its pages. Any third-party scripts we load are limited to services described in our Privacy Policy and are subject to those providers' own cookie policies.

Retention

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies — including analytics identifiers — are retained for up to 12 months, after which they are automatically expired or refreshed in accordance with the analytics provider's data-retention settings.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Estatya respects the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or extension broadcasts a GPC opt-out, we treat it as a request to limit data collection to what is strictly necessary to operate the service. The older Do Not Track (DNT) header is also honored on a best-effort basis, though it is not standardized across browsers.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in from functioning. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect your ability to search, view listings, or send inquiries. Most modern browsers offer granular controls under Settings → Privacy.
